Farmers require agricultural machinery for various tasks. No doubt farming becomes much easier with the help of modern machinery and equipment. But due to their high prices, not every farmer can afford these types of machinery.

To help small and marginal farmers, the government has taken the initiative to provide machine subsidies. Working in this direction, the government of UP has started the UP Krishi Yantra Subsidy Scheme to help farmers. Under this scheme, up to 50 percent subsidy is given to farmers to buy agricultural machinery. 

Under the UP Krishi Machinery Subsidy Scheme, farmers are provided with the benefit of subsidy on agricultural machinery through tokens. Under this, tokens are issued by the Agriculture Department to the farmers. Then through these tokens, farmers of the state are given a subsidy of up to 50 percent under the Subsidy Scheme. Benefits of this scheme will be given to the farmers belonging to small, marginal, and backward classes.

The agricultural machinery and equipment on which subsidy is given under this scheme are as follows-

Harrow, Cultivator, Mini Rice Mill, Power Tiller, Laser Land Leveler, Multi Crop Thresher, Power Chaff Cutter, Tractor Mounded Sprayer, Disc Plow, Oil Mill with Filter Press, Rotawaper, Straw Reaper, Packing Machine, Potato Digging Machine, Custom Hiring The benefit of subsidy is provided to the farmers for agricultural machinery, centers, etc.

The farmers of the state who want to take advantage of agricultural machinery subsidy, have to apply online. You will require some documents for the application, these documents are as follows-

Aadhar card of the farmer applying.

Copy of bank passbook for bank account details.

The farmers of the state who want to apply under the UP Agriculture Equipment Subsidy Scheme will have to apply online for the token. Without a token, you will not get the benefit of the subsidy on agricultural machinery. The online process to apply for the token is as follows-

Firstly, you have to visit the official website of Parparpar Kisan Seva Yojana http://upagriculture.com/.

Upon successfully visiting the website, register yourself.

You will now see several options for arranging Yantra Token. Choose accordingly.

After this, one has to select his/her district and enter the registration number by selecting the option of the registration number.

Now, click on the search button.

After this, you will be asked to select the agricultural machinery. Select the machinery as per your needs.

After selecting the machinery, you will be taken to another page of the site, in which you will be asked your important information like- your name, Aadhaar number, mobile number, etc.

After completion of the process, an SMS will be received in the mobile number to accept the pre-booking.

Keep in mind that this SMS will be your token number and through this token, you will get agricultural machines.
